Winter, Phoenix
Communal acupuncture
A room of recliners, a shorter treatment, a lower price, and an hour of quiet with other people doing the same thing. The last one filled with friends asking for another. The next date is being set now.

Winter, Phoenix
Day wellness retreat
One day, several ways of healing. Acupuncture, breath, movement, herbal tea, and the question most people never get asked: which kind of care actually suits you? Small, local, and built for sampling. The first one happened this fall, and the next is coming.

Teotihuacan retreat at the Dreaming House
A small group, a week, and a city that was already ancient when the Aztecs made pilgrimages to it. Expect early mornings on the site and slow afternoons; the full program is being built now. Dates are being chosen between early June and August. Details and a deposit date will go to the interest list before anything is posted here.

Why Teotihuacan
Nobody can produce the city's original name. "Teotihuacan" is Nahuatl, assigned by the Aztecs more than six centuries after the collapse, and it means roughly "the place where the gods were born." The original name is lost. And the Aztecs themselves treated the ruins as a pilgrimage destination. Their kings traveled there for ceremony at a city already a thousand years dead.
Running contemplative retreats at Teotihuacan isn't a new-age imposition on the site. It's the oldest documented use of the ruins.
The Dreaming House sits beside the archaeological zone. Expect the site early, before the heat and the crowds, and days that are slow on purpose. This is a retreat for people who want to remember something, not perform it.
Hear about dates first
Syracuse weeks, communal acupuncture, the day retreat, classes, and Teotihuacan all go to this list before they're posted anywhere else.
