Elements of Health Schedule

Clinical care/I'm in pain

Pain

Pain is information. Let's read it.

Acupuncture, chiropractic, and acupuncture point injection therapy, used together in one visit. In Phoenix and in Syracuse.

Three tools, one table

Most pain has more than one cause. A joint that's stuck. Muscle around it that's guarding. Circulation that's slowed down. Nerves that have learned to fire too easily. Treating one layer and ignoring the rest is why so many people have tried everything and still hurt.

I hold two licenses, so I don't have to send you down the hall. In a single visit I can needle the points that quiet the nerve and move the blood, adjust the joint that's driving the pattern, and work the tissue with cupping or gua sha so the change holds.

When something won't let go

Acupuncture point injection therapy puts a small amount of a sterile vitamin or homeopathic solution directly into the point. It's quick, it's well tolerated, and it's often the thing that finally releases a trigger point that's been there for years. Offered in Phoenix.

When pain is systemic

If pain is everywhere, if it tracks with your gut or your cycle or your sleep, needles alone are not enough. That's when herbal medicine and lab review come in. Inflammation has sources, and we go looking for them.

What to expect

Recent injury

A strain, a sprain, a flare after a bad week. Usually two to six visits, close together at first, then spaced out.

Long-standing pain

Years of back or neck pain, or a problem that comes and goes. Expect a longer plan, with clear check-in points so we both know whether it's working.

Maintenance

Some people come monthly once they're well, the way others see a trainer. Optional. I'll never sell you a package you don't need.

Honest expectationsAcupuncture and chiropractic are not magic and I don't treat them like it. Most people know within a few visits whether this is helping. If it isn't, we change the plan or I refer you on.

Common questions

Do I need imaging first?

No. If you have it, bring it. If your history and exam point to something that needs imaging, I'll tell you and help you get it.

Will I be sore afterward?

Sometimes, for a day. Cupping and gua sha leave marks that fade in a few days. Drink water, move gently, and skip the hard workout that evening.

Can you help if I've had surgery?

Often, yes. Post-surgical pain, scar tissue, and the compensation patterns that build up around a repair respond well. Bring your surgeon's restrictions and we work inside them.

I'm nervous about adjustments.

Then we don't do them, or we do them gently, or we do them later. Acupuncture and soft tissue work can carry a plan on their own. Nothing happens on my table without you agreeing to it first.
